Intellident has developed a range of kiosks for use in libraries. Its kiosks provide public, academic and private libraries in the UK, France and the Netherlands with a self-service solution for the issuing, renewal and return of items. It also enables users to check their account status and pay fees using a full range of integrated payment methods.
 

The smartServe Lite is a compact kiosk that is designed and branded for use in the children's area of libraries. To date, its appearance has been customised to suit jungle, space and under water themes.
 
The kiosk features a TSP700II receipt printer from Star. It is capable of printing receipts, barcodes, labels and tickets at 250mm per second on paper roll up to 10mm in diameter. The printer allows for simple graphic and interface management and can print high quality images at up to 406x203 dpi.
 
The latest addition to Intellident's range of children's kiosks comes with biometric identification as an option. The schoolServe kiosk has been designed for use by children of all ages, and is aimed solely at the education market.
 
This kiosk uses Star's TSP100 futurePRNT printer, which offers high print quality and a range of features and software tools.
