Embedded World 2009
This year’s Embedded World Exhibition and Conference will be held at Nürnberg Messe, Germany, from the 3rd to the 5th March 2009. Alexander Mattausch, Project Director of Embedded World, is already very excited about the exhibition: “Even at this stage, just a few months before the launch of the 2009 event, we have exceeded the results compared to the same period last year”. It certainly promises to be another large-scale international event for the embedded community.

With the 2009 Embedded World Conference, Design&Elektronik is once again presenting the leading event for the European embedded community, covering all areas of embedded system development. In addition to hardware, software and tools, the conference will for the first time also be covering themes such as green electronics, project management and current trends and developments.

In their lectures, experts andspecialists from the embedded community will provide answers to the most pressing matters and ensure that embedded systems developers are best prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. With 24 sessions and 20 classes, the programme once again promises to be an interesting and lively congress event tailored to the requirements of development engineers, covering topics from network technologies and graphical user interface to successfully implementing ARM. The classes will look at open source project management, real-time Linux and software design for multi-core systems. Once again, embedded specialists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (Fraunhofer Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen - IIS) and the Embedded Systems Institute will host individual sessions at the conference.

Exhibitors at embedded world will include manufacturers and distributors of electronic components, modules and systems, suppliers of hardware and software tools for development, suppliers of application software and service providers of development, production and information services.
