Custom  has launched them the new state of the art thermal printer called VKP80III.
The VKP80 of third generation presents exclusive features, is more sturdy, practical and cheaper both in installation and maintenance. Moreover the easy opening cover allows to easily reach the printing head, the rolls and the cutter. The hot swap function allows to remove the printer from the kiosk without switching it off: like a F1 pit stop! It’s then extremely compact and rich in new functions and technologies such as the new highly performing processor.
 
Features Include:
 
Flexible - adjustable roll support and ergonomic paper loading (possible from the right or left side of the kiosk).
 
Equipped with a patented anti jamming system and an automatic “CLEAN” command which restores the printer when the jamming is solved.
 
Equipped with illuminated paper mouth and paper presenter with ejecting and retracting functions
 
New patented feature allowing the printer to deliver the first ticket and print a second copy which will be “collected” in the kiosk without presenting it to the customer; in this way VKP80III guarantees a copy of the ticket/receipt for data logging or tax recovery.
 
Built with a VeryNotch and TopNotch, omobile sensors able to read the black notch or the holes on the non thermal side (VeryNotch) or thermal side (TopNotch) of the tickets in any position.
 
Can work in EcoGreen modality to reduce the consumption and integrates an innovative function of auto diagnosis of the printing head able to supply the percentage of non working dots.
 
It’s available a version which integrates the latest patented "Print&Read" system which allows to print, insert the ticket in the same paper outlet and read the barcode then validate the ticket itself. This system transforms the VKP80III printer in a complete print and read system for applications as access control, parking, games, couponing.
 
Supports TrueType fonts and can use special fonts such as Chinese and Cyrillic
 
Able to update and upload an high number of logos and graphics (up to 2MB)
 
Built in status monitor to obtain remote feedbacks from the printer
