At the Heinz Nixdorf Forum, a copy of the painting "Merchant Gisze" by Hans Hohlbein the Younger was converted into an interactive exhibit with 32 sensor fields placed within the area of the painting.
By touching one of the sensor fields a selected audio file is triggered. The playback may be in either German or English. The analysis of the sensor fields is carried out by the Winkey 2.0 Controller which is hooked up as a keyboard to the PC. Depending on the received keyboard code the PC launches the corresponding audio file that matches the respective area of the painting. Integrated Electronics:
