At KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2010, Axiomtek will showcase its new large-size advertising digital signage platform with 46-inch full HD wide TFT LCD, the DSA-146.
 
It is designed to be installed in any public and commercial spaces to effectively convey digital contents such as: commercial, announcement, news and information, operating 24/7 as non-stop service. The ideal platform combines low power Intel Celeron M 575 2.0 GHz or high performance Intel Core2 Duo T9400 2.53 GHz processor with Intel GM45 chipset to deliver good computing power and enhance graphic capability. Its unique pluggable module architecture design eases system configuration and maintenance. The DSA-146 is suitable for a variety of applications, such as shopping mall, corporate, education, hospitality, religious organization, bank, transportation, retail store, restaurant and more.
 
For the DSA-146, Axiomtek has introduced the unique pluggable module architecture design to advance system reliability and scalability.  Being able to simply slot-in and out the pluggable module, maintenance and upgrading CPU, DRAM and HDD is easier and faster than before. For system stability, this fanless unit can self-diagnose LCD life and detect external temperature. The built-in sensor is able to detect outdoor sunlight in order to adjust LCD color/backlight automatically. For greener power, the optional motion detection sensor can switch the LCD off or on based on human foot traffic. In addition, to enable the operator to be able to manage content effectively and conveniently via internet, the DSA-146 supports MiniPCI Express for 802.11 wireless LAN connection and 10/100/1000 Ethernet.
 
Furthermore, the DSA-146 adopts 46-inch wide TFT LCD with full high definition 1920 x 1080 pixels which generates high quality images. An optional touchscreen is also available. For storage capacity, the digital signage unit is outfitted with built-in 1GB DDR3 DRAM plus 80GB SATA HDD. The solution includes VESA FPMPMI compliant flat panel mounting for suspension fixing way which is often best for public environments. Other features include VGA or DVI out, 4 USB 2.0 and audio (4W x 2 built-in side facing speaker).
