GeBE's new Motion Ticket Printer.

GeBE have announced their new ticket printer, the GeBE-Motion, designed with high operational reliability and low service cost in mind.

The printer measures 122 x 82 x 108mm, including the front mounted presenter. It prints on an individually adjustable paper width of 60 – 82mm.The presenter handles paper thicknesses of up to 150µm and of any length. The unit comes with USB and RS232 connections on its control board.

The printer has been designed with an anti-jam function, which triggers a paper transport stop as soon as it senses receipt pulling or the blockage of the output slot. Printing commences as soon as the slot is cleared. In the event of the output slot being temporarily blocked, the anti- jam paper function stops and starts, so that paper transport continues.

Printed receipts remain in place until taken hold of by a user. This activates a pull sensor which triggers a paper feed of up to 400mm/s – a system intended to prevent premature ticket tearing. The presenter’s paper retract function pulls forgotten receipts back into the secure terminal housing after an adjustable time period. This prevents inappropriate use of valuable or data sensitive receipts.
