Sankyo’s new SCT3Q8 card dispensing and encoding unit boasts the same functionality as its SCT series – card hopping, dispensing, data encoding and retention of rejected/collected cards – but is housed in a smaller unit designed for integration into smaller terminals. The highly-reliable SCT3Q8 can not only handle currency value cards like gift vouchers and pre-paid transport tickets, but also deal with hotel keycards, loyalty cards, membership cards and just about any other application that can be dispensed through self-service devices. All types of card, including magnetic, contact type IC and RFID can be accommodated.
