Virtual 3D Exploration of Medieval Bremens

A project was established in Bremen to celebrate the town’s medieval roots. The town is represented and explored in a 3D virtual tour which includes archeological evidence and excavations to create a virtual version of the medieval town.
 
The control of this is similar to the controls of a computer game: the visitors can choose different points of view at the kiosk and where they explore.
 
This project was realised by engram, specialists in digital communication media.
 
About Bremens: In 1300, Bremens was a key trade centre, with good connections to the UK, Scandinavia and the Baltic States. The lively trade ensured the city’s prosperity, which can be seen today in the city’s existing walls. It was also the bishop’s seat for the North of Germany.
