From 286, 486 and Socket 370 motherboards up to today's CPU embedded solutions; Unicorn has now built up a diverse client base throughout the world.
Unicorn’s wide array of products, which includes industrial-grade motherboards, barebones systems, panel PCs and accessories, has been applied to applications as diverse as terminal controllers, POS, LAN Station, communication controllers, amusement/gaming devices, banking systems, upgrading systems, airport terminals, and, of course, information kiosks.
The company recently launched the world’s first VIA Luke Corefusion Mini-ITX platform, the ENDAT-3400M,which integrates the latest generation VIA Eden-N fanless processor and the VIA CN400 North Bridge. The Eden N processor is an improvement on its predecessor, the Eden, as it consumes far less power and requires much less space on the board. As for the CN400, it is well known for its powerful and versatile graphics functions, such as direct support for LVDS LCD panels and integrated Mpeg 4 hardware decoders. These features, combined with multiple I/O (with up to 6 COM ports, all with +5V and +12V power selector), make the ENDAT-3400M an ideal model for kiosk, POS, gaming and media-related applications. The unit also integrates a 12V input DC-DC-converter onboard, making it suitable for fanless applications.
