Keep Your Receipt

Nippon Primex

Nippon Primex’s NP-3511 kiosk printer has an easily accessible head unit that allows for simple maintainance and restocking of the paper supply. A lock-free auto-cutter automatically returns to its original position even if a problem occurs, keeping paper jam occurrence as low as possible, so downtime and maintenance time is minimised.

To reduce the chances of paper jams even more, the optional NPT-306 retraction presenter is highly recommended. This small unit prevents paper jams caused by users pulling the receipt before it has been fully cut. Good security for end users is offered through the printer’s retraction of uncollected receipts.

When servicing self-service terminals, including ATMs, replacing the paper roll is one of the most common tasks. Incorporating a larger paper roll holder effectively decreases the frequency of the paper running out. The UPH-LA series is 200mm in diameter and its mounting position can be configured depending on the space in the unit and the direction from which the paper is replaced.

In some ATM systems, digital devices or a network may be used to record transactions. However, a hardware device like a journal printer NP-3551 can also be used. The design of the NP-3551 is based on the reliable and easy-touse mechanisms of the NP-3511 and uses the same control board.

The receipt and journal printers, NP-2511 and NP-2551, are available in a 2” paper width. Nippon Primex’s printers can be configured to suit individual applications and budgets, decreasing integration costs for the operator.

In terms of programming, the combination of a Windows driver with Nii Easy Print (SDK) works well in assuring a hasslefree receipt or ticket design using a GUI design tool and DLL functions which shorten the coding time, saving further costs.
