Custom kiosk thermal printers are specially designed to take into account all the features most commonly requested when selecting a printer for kiosk use. Kiosk-specific details include an extra-long paper roll to reduce the number of service visits, high printing speeds to reduce end-user waiting times, and continuous reliability after many thousands of uses. Inspection is designed to be as engineer-friendly as possible and multi-position roll holders plus an illuminated paper mouth make front panel design of the final kiosk much simpler and neater.

Custom
All Custom printers are equipped with Status Monitor software for remote monitoring of printer status, and an e-mail or SMS message can be generated as a warning, for example when a paper roll is nearing its end. Interfaces used include RS232 / serial, parallel / Centronics, USB. Driver support includes Linux, Win 98, 2k & ME, NT4 and XP.

The new KPM300 ticket printer with barcode laser reader is now available, offering high quality and full printing capacity at exceptionally fast speeds of up to 250mm/sec.

The printer can manage both paper rolls and fan-folds, and prints on ticket widths of 54/76/80/82.5mm, at paper thicknesses from 60 to 255g/m2. The integrated barcode scanner allows the KPM300 to read pre-printed modules, making it suitable for most common ticketing applications, and is available with a 64Mb MultiMediaCard (64Mb) for logo, font and data storage expansion.

Custom can offer global solutions for all kiosk systems thanks to an extremely wide range of products, including LCD monitors (from 6.4” to 40”) that come ready to install and equipped with metallic frame, power supply, connection cable, user manual and a full line of manual and motorized magnetic, chip and contactless card readers/writers. All are EMV 4.0 certified and come fully equipped with an anti-intrusion shutter, USB interface and software demo.
