Creating Cretivo

Kiosk
HJE Eickhoff, the manufacturer of display stands and other promotional shop fitting equipment, has recently created a series of kiosks under its ‘cretivo’ brand name. Particular emphasis has been given to the kiosks’ striking slim line casings, deliberately created to form an instant impression the first time the consumer uses them.
The design of the ’Smartboard’ kiosk is so flexible and space saving that only minor adaptations are need to configure it as either a stand alone or wall mounted unit. The features of the Smartboard have been optimised for use as a ‘meeter and greeter’ in restaurants or any menu-displaying service outlet.

The ‘Shelf’ unit, unsurprisingly, is a shelf-mounted, button-operated kiosk, which features an integrated card reader, which makes data exchange child’s play - even for the shop assistant who only started this morning.

At the heart of the new kiosk initiative is the multi-model ‘Flatline’ series, whose enclosures are a mere 60mm deep, yet contain a full function PC and loudspeakers. The Flatline 19” comes with a touch screen model for customer interaction and the mid-range model offers a 26” TFT-display, which has been integrated in portrait rather than the standard landscape format. A specially developed software package has also been created for the terminals that can split the screen into a number of subscreens, allowing many different functions to be displayed simultaneously.

Top of the range is the 32” TFT-display model for high-level applications. The enormous screen and tiny 60mm product depth make it ideally suited as the centrepiece for public broadcasting and presentations.

A number of wall-mounted units complete the offering for applications where stand-alone models are unsuitable, and all terminals are made from aluminium and other high quality materials, adding to their distinct and exclusive appearance.
