The departure terminals of airports across Europe are already populated by check-in kiosks, but kiosks are also a solution well-suited to the arrivals hall as a tool for baggage handling, allowing customers to report, monitor, track and even reclaim their lost baggage through self-service.
 

As of October 2008, Stansted Airport in the UK now boasts 80 new IBM checkin kiosks for Ryanair customers to grab up to 180 flights a day.
 

Not only is it in the interests of anyone who has installed a kiosk that it should be up and running at all times, but it is also in the interests of CMS that uptime should be maximised.

When you think of a banking kiosk, you generally think of a computer that gives clients bank account access. It may give clients the ability to transfer funds, check balances, sign-up for new bank services or deposit money into their account, but the concept of web-banking access is generally the same.
