Profits soar with self-order kiosks
Restaurateurs using table-top interactive self-service terminals are experiencing increased return on investment as well as enhanced customer satisfaction.
Where Ziosk terminals are used in a restaurant setting, customers are finding the range of applications available conducive to ordering more drinks and food and easing the process of bill payment.
Created by Dallas company Table Top Media, the Ziosks have been in operation for some time but have recently increased their deployment to a variety of new chains, including Chili’s.
The Pay-At-The-Table (PATT) options on the ziosks mean that guests can pay whenever they like, whilst retaining their credit, debit or gift cards – given that 67% of non-internet credit card fraud occurs in a restaurant, this feeling of security for the customer is all-important.
With guests able to order themselves drinks or even dessert from the ziosk, this means good news for the restaurant owner – an increase in Per Person Average (PPA) sales as well as reduced staff costs. Included in the ziosk’s range of features are entertainment options, such as games, movie trailers and even advertising, and the option to enrol in loyalty or eClubs at the table and complete customer surveys for marketing purposes.
Specific interactive content to the restaurant they’re positioned in, increases awareness of and promotes contextually relevant food and beverage items whilst the guests are dining and up to 100% increases in sales have been reported as a result.
