Custom has added a new model to its kiosk printer range: the new, super-compact VKP112, which prints on a 112mm ticket width, at a high printing speed of up to 140mm/sec (1m/sec ticket expulsion). The unit is ideal for installation on information kiosks, multimedia and ATMs and features a reliable autocutter good for up to 1 million cuts, a separate paper roll holder which can be mounted in three positions (above, behind or below) and a USB interface. It can handle paper rolls of up to 180mm in diameter and is available with either a motorised dispenser or static presenter (for tickets with fixed or defined length.) The plastic paper outlet mouth also lights up during ticket presentation.
 
As with all Custom kiosk printers, VKP112 is provided with Status Monitor Software, which provides remote visibility of paper and printer status, jams, near-end of paper and end of paper status and information on the number of tickets or prints. The software can even be set to send email alerts for easy remote maintenance operations.
