Integrated Banknote Acceptor

It all Counts

Experience shows that the integration of a banknote acceptor can considerably raise the turnover of any kind of machine that accepts cash. This especially applies to kiosks, as the value of the offered goods tends to be higher, and paying with a banknote is therefore very convenient to the customer. But this convenience also comes with a major consideration of security. Most kiosks, particularly in the banking arena, require very high security from the components which handle money transactions. Japan Cash Machine, a leading manufacturer of money handling solutions, offers a wide range of bill validation products to meet just these demands.

it all counts
One of JCM’s most renowned products is the UBA (Universal Bill Acceptor), which accepts more than 98% of inserted banknotes in all four directions – and in less than two seconds. Its validation technology includes optical and magnetic sensors to make sure that only counterfeit banknotes are being rejected for the highest possible acceptance rate. The automatic centring mechanism ensures that banknotes are being validated with maximum accuracy and a minimum of useless rejections due to crookedly inserted notes. The UBA can even accept three currencies at the same time, making it particularly suitable for international locations like airports.

High speed motors enable the UBA to stack the accepted banknotes into the removable security cash box in the minimum amount of time. Customers can chose between a metal and a plastic cash box - both cash boxes are lockable with individualised keys. Only the owner of these keys will be able to have direct contact with the cash inside the bill acceptor. The cash boxes are available in several different sizes, up to a capacity of 1000 banknotes.

A worldwide network of authorised service centres provides comprehensive service and support from JCM-trained technicians with professional experience of all the company’s bill validators.
