From September 26th 2006, the Photokina exhibition, in its new Cologne location, will once again act as the global information and communication platform for the imaging sector, with all the latest techniques, products, applications and services on show, covering the entire scope of the global imaging marketplace.
 
Around 1,600 suppliers from 50 countries will be presenting at this year’s ‘World of Imaging,’ with more than 60% of them coming from outside Germany. Around 160,000 visitors from 140 countries, mostly professional users and dealers, are expected to travel to Cologne for the show. Photokina will present nearly all available photo finishing solutions for professionals and amateurs alike, from professional photo processing labs to home printers. One major segment on display will be photo kiosk systems, today’s fastest-growing solution to the need to provide customers with a way to turn the digital data in their digicams and camera phones into photos.
 
Photokina will present all the latest photo kiosk models, as well as the best marketing strategies for their use and all the trends that will be driving this booming market into the future. The organisers of Photokina 2006 expect all of the world’s leading suppliers of photo kiosk and printing systems to be on hand to present and explain their very latest imaging products and give their thoughts on the factors that will drive the industry into the future.
