Embedded Managed Ethernet Switch Module
With Moxa’s new Ethernet module switches, users can benefit from reduced deployment cost, lower power consumption (2 watts), extended operating temperature of -40 to 75oC, device redundancy, as well as saving valuable space.
The size of the EOM-104 is merely 54 x 60 mm-about two-thirds the size of a business card -which is perfect for space restricted embedded applications.
Other advantages include its low power consumption that provides lower thermal output for stable operations, and 3.3 VDC power input, which do not require an additional external power supply.
Management functions include Moxa’s Turbo Ring redundant technology (recovery time < 20 ms), SNMP, QoS, and intelligent SNMP and email alerts for events.
In addition, the EOM-104 provides a set of PIN connectors for easy plug-n-play installation and can be configured over a network by web browser and Telnet console. The EOM-104 managed Ethernet switch module extends the benefits of smart networking performance and rugged features to devices in an easy and efficient way.
