JCM KIOSK EUROPE Autumn 2011
According to JCM Global, its new TBV Transactional Bill Validator is a better, smarter, faster solution for single note and bulk note transactions. The TBV’s ability to quickly process single note and bulk note transactions makes it an ideal solution for self-pay kiosk operations, retail safes, ticketing, automated deposit systems and small banking operations.

The product’s single-note and bulk-note applications mean operators can now install just one device for multiple uses. The bulk note feeder accepts up to 50 notes for quick processing of large stacks of notes, and the wide bezel opening quickly accepts notes in widths from 60mm-85mm and lengths from 110-170mm; useful for ensuring that business is kept moving.

Sensor on Board’ technology gives it a high level of counterfeit detection. A self-centering mechanism allows acceptance of all currencies, and the sealed bill path is dirt and liquid resistant, meaning that operators need worry less about damage and concentrate on business and profits.

Accepted notes are stored in the TBV’s 2,000-note cashbox, which is made of impact-resistant plastic. The cash box to be easily accessible, and has a double-locking feature for added security. The cashbox is ICB-enabled so it reduces accounting variances and tracks asset number

The product accepts multiple denominations and currencies simultaneously so there is no need to sort banknotes prior to insertion. It has fast processing speeds of 1.7 seconds for fixed width notes, and 2.0 seconds for variable width notes. According to designers, this makes the deposit process the fastest in its class. The TBV also processes notes from the bottom of the stack, meaning additional notes can be added on top of deposits in process.
