TAB Provides 10,000 New Betting Terminals

TAB-Austria is a leading manufacturer and supplier of amusement terminals, and is best known for its touch screen terminal Silverball, the digital jukebox Max Fire, and the digital pinball Virtual Pinball, in which production, design and software are all from one source. Thanks to over 45 years of experience and an excellent record for safety and stability, more and more national and international companies are coming to the Austrian company as the supplier for their customised terminals.
 
One of these customers is now growing fast and expanding into the Czech and Austrian markets, commissioning TAB to build more than 10,000 new betting terminals, in a contract estimated to be worth around €50 million - the biggest order ever since formation of the company. From January 2007, TAB-Austria will start to produce 300 kiosk terminals every week.

The family business has already expanded rapidly during the last few years and has steadily increased its rate of export. “Time and time again the number of employees is growing. We have recently expanded our workforce in both the sales and software engineering departments.”, said Siegfried Dattl jun., General Manager. “This latest bulk order enables the company to further expand its research and development department, working towards creating new products and innovations that reflect the company’s slogan: ‘Better games through innovation’. With this philosophy in mind, TAB-Austria is fast becoming one of the leading companies in the amusement sector.”
 
His plans for the future are also very ambitious: “We’d like to further expand steadily and develop new foreign markets. The amusement sector is not utilised now, and there is a market potential for kiosk terminals in evidence. With competitive advantages and customers demands in mind, it is always possible to stand up to copycats and Asian low price suppliers”.
