Reducing the Complexity of the Supply Line

There’s no need to lose your temper when sourcing parts... or trying to meet deadlines with a huge number of parts that need to be assembled. Just ask Dreusicke what can be done to optimise your logistics, by reducing the number of suppliers and incoming goods at your assembly line.

Dreusicke began a roller production in 1926 in Berlin Germany, and specialises in manufacturing customised roller shafts for cash-handling applications, card readers, receipt printers, label printers, mailroom equipment and digital printing presses, but there is lot more that we can do besides.
 
Apart from producing high performance rollers for machine components in our own production unit, other component parts can be sourced, and sub-suppliers supervised in terms of quality and lead time. The parts can then be assembled and delivered on time to the OEM, such as the brochure folding module shown on the picture above, used in a finishing machine.

 
If the customer already has an existing assembly line or assembly service company with no need to change that running system, he can optimise that as well. Often, there are a number of rollers going into one component, so why not give the assembly line workers the whole set of roller shafts needed for one machine at once? To avoid confusion, specific packaging can be designed to place the shafts in ergonomic and practical positions at the workplace (see picture below).
 
To offer these services, Dreusicke has more than 50 well trained employees. They are working closely with OEMs and rubber compounders to develop and test rollers and components for new applications. We have been certified for quality standard ISO 9001 since 1996. Dreusicke’s international customers are used to on-time delivery to destinations around the world. 50% of our production output is exported. To allow for ever shorter lead times, make- and-hold orders can also be agreed on.
