Hop Around the Clock
Machine requirements and performances differ depending on many factors, such as location, user type, and number of transactions. Sometimes, the number of transactions executed in the machine necessitates the storing of a large number of coins in the hopper to pay out.
By using high capacity hoppers, it is possible to increase the amount of coins managed per hopper. This enables optimisation of space within the cabinet, and also reduction of manufacturing cost per machine.
Azkoyen has developed the new high capacity Hopper T3 which it states is currently the biggest hopper on the market. It has increased capacity of up to 2,750 coins and contains a multiple coin denomination management system in a single bowl.
The company cites a number of benefits associated with the hopper. It allows clients to optimise their internal design. Its increased capacity and multi-denomination management system can reduce the number of hoppers needed per machine. It allows for significant cost reductions by reducing the internal components (fewer hoppers, spare coin guides to and from the hoppers, fewer connectors) within a unit.
It has high levels of security built in, including a triple counting and validation system (two optical sensors plus one magnetic sensor) to reduce the counting errors and frauds.
Its higher capacity allows increased autonomy of the machine by reducing the frequency of coin loads.
Each machine can be adapted to specific conditions by changing the position of the full detection sensor. Depending on the work conditions, the amount of coins stored per hopper changes. This system allows you to set the highest level of coins in the hopper.
The company concludes that all these factors will allow users to optimise their machines’ performance. Users will get the most from each machine by adapting the hopper to their needs.
