In 2008, Flytech will be introducing its new K897 freestanding kiosk product line to the market. The K897 is an off-the-shelf product providing customisable options and configurations to meet individual business needs in loyalty programme and payment applications.

The K897’s elegant, 2mm thick, powder-coated stainless steel exterior houses a user-friendly ADA-compliant kiosk equipped with a 17" hi-brightness LCD monitor with anti-glare protective glass and 3 watt stereo speakers. The unit has been designed to stand up to all the possible stresses and strains of unattended indoor public access applications.

A wide range of options are available, including an insert type magnetic card reader, motorised chip card reader, 80mm thermal printer, laser barcode scanner, RFID reader, webcam / microphone, metal keyboard with trackball, 6mm vandal-proof SAW touchscreen, A4, printer, coin / bill acceptor, overhead second display, power filtering / backup and other custom components, all modularly integrated into the main unit for quick and easy maintenance.

Over the last few years, Flytech has manufactured 20,000 photo kiosks and 8,000 freestanding kiosks to the global self-service market.
