Avalue Technology Panel PCs

According to its customers’ needs, the company designs and develops different panel PC products in all aspects of functionality, mechanism and appearance, with integrated up-to-date technology such as wireless, graphics effect display, (multi) touch screen, or even with a specific user interface. Avalue can also manufacture the panel PCs to ruggedised specifications.

The rugged products have passed strict safety examinations, with systems that are able to keep on running steadily and stably under extreme situations such as severe vibration or sudden attack. They also meet with the IP-65 splash-proof and dust-proof standard of most of front panels, with the LPC-Series, MTP-Series and SPC-Series reaching a high level of full IP-65 for the entire machine.

The modular concept of the series also offers great flexibility, widening the product’s expandability and prolonging the product life cycle. The flexibility also enables customers to tailor their equipment to meet their exact needs. Equipped with the latest Intel Atom D525 1.8G dual core processing technology, Avalue can now further consolidate its panel PCs in terms of performance, power efficiency and space-saving factors.

Usability Workshop @ KEX 2012

Handspiel
What can self-service terminals learn from the success of the iPad? The Usability Expert Workshop will explore ways of developing self-service solutions capable of inspiring the same fanatical reaction as Apple’s iconic product. On the 7th of March this year, hundreds of people were out on the streets, waiting to be amongst the first to get their hands on the latest iPad iteration. They had camped out all night with their thermoses in the freezing cold. Why are so many people willing to do this in front of every Apple store, but not for a new check-in terminal at the airport, train station, or shopping mall? What’s behind the buzz, and how can we encourage a similar reaction to self-service solutions? Through expert contributions and together with you, we will seek to answer these questions and explore future ways to get there. KIOSK EUROPE and Handspiel will present the Usability Expert Workshop as part of KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2012, which runs from 12-13 June. The Usability Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 13th June from 10:30-13:30. Numbers are limited, so secure your place now by booking online at www.kioskeurope-expo.com
