Nippon's New Printer Series
Open Door Policy
The NP-2701 compact kiosk printer allows the user to exchange the 83mm paper roll simply by opening the front door. Although the unit can accommodate an 83mm paper roll, the external height is only 120mm and all components, including PCB, are protected by a metal chassis. The unit functions in an operating temperature range of -15oC to +60oC. Also, by using options such as bezel and presenter, the user has further choice. In terms of programming, the combination of Windows driver and NII Easy Print (SDK) makes it easier to design the receipt and ticket using the GUI design tool. The useful DLL functions also shorten the coding period and generate cost savings.
The NP-K204 offers good value for money and has printing speeds of up to 100mm/sec. USB and RS232C connectivity and the option of full cut/partial cut using command with control auto cutter are also features of this printer series. The soon-to-be patented platen holder can be set as a separate platen for auto-loading. Mass production is available now and achieves a low price of $100.00 per unit, which decreases installation costs for kiosk deployers.
