New VP Retail for Wincor

As of November 1, 2010, Thomas Fell will take over the responsibility for Wincor Nixdorf’s worldwide IT business in the retail industry. This position has been filled on an interim basis since the beginning of May 2010 by Eckard Heidloff, President and CEO of the company.

Fell will join the company as Senior Vice President, Retail.Thomas Fell comes to Wincor Nixdorf from Pironet NDH, where he is heading the sales activities of the Software Solutions and Retail business areas since April 2009 as a Member of the Board of Directors. Prior to this, Fell was as Managing Director at IBM Germany heading the business for medium-sized companies. This position was preceded by the management responsibility for the IBM's Retail, Services, Transport and Tourism division in Germany.
 
Fell, who was born in 1968, has a Master Degree in Business Administration from the university in Mannheim and began his professional career in 1993 at IBM in Frankfurt. He is married and has three children.
