Bank Note Recyclers in Demand for 2012

Eurocoin will be offering self-service providers with a choice of world-class bill acceptors and bank note recyclers at Kiosk London Expo 2011.

Eurocoin Kiosks

Their range of products offers businesses in the leisure, kiosk, transit and vending market a reliable solution to change giving and note recycling.

From a head-only bill validator to full-system bill acceptor solutions - complete with lockable note stacker and the very latest anti-fraud software  - visitors will be able to check out all the options.

“Note recyclers reduce the need for on-site cashiers and eliminate the issue of coin jams and empty payout hoppers in many applications” observed Eurocoin’s Technical Sales Manager, Garry Holland “We are experiencing exceptional interest in our comprehensive product range, which will all be on display at the show.”

The company’s clients have already adopted the Merkur Recycler extensively in self-serve applications, thanks to the unit’s ability to pay out 3 different bank note denominations. Merkur has now launched a new lockable cashbox system giving existing and new users complete security and peace of mind during transportation of full cash boxes at the end of a shift..

The MD 100 has a very positive impact on revenue as players are able to insert higher denomination notes in exchange for the payment of goods or a service and receive lower value notes as change. Effectively, the Merkur MD-100 ensures that customers having only a high value banknote are not deterred from using the kiosk functions.

The Vega Recycler and the new UBA Recycler, both from JCM, will also be on display at the Eurocoin stand. Vega-RC is a compact unit that can hold 30 bank notes of a single denomination in its recycle module. UBA Recycler has an increased capacity of 200 bank notes in 2 different denominations, offering clients a greater versatility in payout and change options.

“Note recycling is an important part of our comprehensive range of integrated hardware solutions for 2012” concluded Holland. “If you are planning a kiosk device that will print and scan barcodes or receipts, accept or payout notes and coins, plus utilise touch screens and the very latest wide-angle TFT displays, then the Eurocoin stand is the place to visit at Kiosk 2011!”

Usability Workshop @ KEX 2012

Handspiel
What can self-service terminals learn from the success of the iPad? The Usability Expert Workshop will explore ways of developing self-service solutions capable of inspiring the same fanatical reaction as Apple’s iconic product. On the 7th of March this year, hundreds of people were out on the streets, waiting to be amongst the first to get their hands on the latest iPad iteration. They had camped out all night with their thermoses in the freezing cold. Why are so many people willing to do this in front of every Apple store, but not for a new check-in terminal at the airport, train station, or shopping mall? What’s behind the buzz, and how can we encourage a similar reaction to self-service solutions? Through expert contributions and together with you, we will seek to answer these questions and explore future ways to get there. KIOSK EUROPE and Handspiel will present the Usability Expert Workshop as part of KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2012, which runs from 12-13 June. The Usability Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 13th June from 10:30-13:30. Numbers are limited, so secure your place now by booking online at www.kioskeurope-expo.com
