Lining Up

With a 100% duty-cycle, Zebra’s new range of desktop printers can issue tickets at the counter in just one second, while the embedded versions let customers skip the queue and print their ticket at a self-service ticketing kiosk instead. And if the line’s still growing, Zebra’s Mobile Printing solutions allow staff to serve customers in the queue itself, with a mobile POS that can connect wirelessly to handheld terminals, enabling tickets, boarding passes and receipts to be printed anywhere.

Zebra Kiosk Printers are available for most ticket formats and receipts, from 58mm, via credit card and ATB1 format up to full A4 documents and long IATA Baggage tags. They can print text, graphics and barcodes in 1D or 2D, or use up to 3-track magnetic stripe encoding. The TTPM3 can be set to peak-hour-mode, slashing the time for print, magnetic encoding and 100% verification down to one second. The TTP 2100 fits in your palm, yet handles tickets up to ATB1 format or long flight baggage tags. The TTP 8000 is able to print full A4 or letter size documents – perfect for internet bookings that are printed out in the passenger terminal. The TTP 7030 prints in pocket-friendly 112mm, width but still allows for detailed information. The compact TTP 2000 prints from 58 to 82.5mm wide tickets with the highest possible reliability, using less than quarter of an A4 page for its footprint.
