itp systems and solutions has developed a new economical and easy handling kiosk printer unit, called "Ecco". The printer is based on the company's Presto technology and is available with 12VDC or 24VDC, with or without cutter, has RS232 and USB interface connection. Windows or Linux drivers are standard.
 
One main advantage of the new Ecco is the easy front loading of the paper roll and front paper insertion. It is available in 2 and 3 inch with paper thickness up to 100ym.
 
A second main feature is the easy clip-in function: no screw is necessary to fix the printer in the kiosk chassis. This means an easy maintenance and extremely low service cost after sales.
 
With the new Ecco, installers can build very slim kiosks or chassis because the total depth of the unit is less than 120mm.
 
The main applications are ticketing, receipt, parking, gaming, hospitality, self-service and kiosk printer systems.
