Related interest: TricKino.de, the online community for young animators, has been awarded the prestigious Digital Award at this year's education fair in Cologne. The solution is an excellent example of how interaction design can be powerful, yet effortlessly simple.
 
From the findings of the jury: "The digital jury like the playful way in which children and adolescents can test themselves as animated film producers with TricKino.de. The online offering and the associated software provide a very attractive, easy to use and user friendly tool. The combination of software and website is managed completely by the attractive uniform style in graphic design. By creating a custom profile, kids or teens can make friends with each other, upload their own videos and present them publicly. A separate, specially designed file format ensures technical prerequisite for videos and materials can be reused in the community. The comment feature supports communication about finished works. Since TricKino.de is a moderated community, all content is subject to editorial observation.”
