GeBE's High Performance Printers
Speaking Volumes
Another crucial technical and cost-cutting feature for kiosk printers in ticketing applications is that paper needs to be cut quickly and placed in a disbursement tray or disbursement unit for easy removal after printing. While space for integration is usually at a premium, a large stock of paper is also critical to keep service intervals and paper changes to a minimum.
High performance printers like GeBE’s Compact Plus can handle paper rolls of up to 200mm diameter and still print text and graphics at a speed of 200mm/sec. This printer can print and cut paper thicknesses between 60 and 220gsm with a paper width of up to 82mm.
Printer mechanics and electronics, as well as the paper cutter, are arranged in a tidy package, so minimal space is required to integrate the entire unit. The Compact Plus can also be tailored to match customer specific terminals and can operate within a wide variety of system communication platforms. GeBE OEM products feature an open-access design to allow easy customisation.
