Kiosk Printer for Libraries
The TUP900 is used to print a full receipt for the customer, should they require one following the transaction. In order to make customers feel more confident using the kiosk, intuitive features have been incorporated, such as the receipt output slot which features a flashing light to direct the user to take their receipt when it is ready.
The main issues for consideration in the choice of printer for Intellident, aside from cost, were ease of use, form factor and reliability. The kiosk is designed to operate 24/7, so the printer had to be very reliable.
Andy Chadbourne, Marketing and Communications Manager at Intellident commented, “The wide format of the printer allows us a great deal of space to print information, allowing us to use a large font that is easy for customers of all ages to read.”
Supplied by DED Limited, one of the most popular features of the TUP900 has proved to be the unique wide format (112mm) offering a high speed kiosk printing that has been specifically designed for OEM use. The TUP900 provides cost effective versatility without compromising on reliability, making it suitable for unattended public operation in ticketing, gaming, lottery or internet kiosks.
