Elektrosil, provider of engineering, design-in and development of customer-specific applications, has partnered with Natural User Interface Technologies AB (Nuiteq), to integrate their multi-touch software product Snowflake Suite on their multi-touch LCD hardware solution dreaMTouch. Elektrosil co-developed with Citron the dreaMTouch, a multi-touch hardware solution.

dreaMTouch is an infrared-based multipoint touch hardware technology platform that provides reliable detection of up to 32 simultaneous touch points.

The solution is rugged, has a slim design and requires no calibration, which makes it very suitable for embedded systems. The dreaMTouch operates on a sample rate of 50 fps and has an easy to use USB interface.

"Elektrosil is delighted to partner with Nuiteq, because of its brand and pioneering expertise in the multi-touch technology industry. Their unique multi-touch software product Snowflake Suite performs very well with our innovative and flat designed dreaMTouch hardware technology platform. Through this partnership we are able to offer our clients and partners unique and complete all in one multi-touch solutions. We are looking forward to a fruitful long term relationship between our companies," comments Thomas Plöhn, Elektrosil’s Product Manager.

Nuiteq CEO Harry van der Veen added, "It is very exciting to partner with Elektrosil. Their flat true multi-touch hardware solution dreaMTouch is very appealing and has, in my opinion, great potential. Nuiteq’s goal is to offer compatibility for Snowflake Suite with all the major multi-touch hardware platforms in the industry. Our software product Snowflake Suite worked out of the box on their dreaMTouch system, so it was great to see that our software was able to integrate so easily with their innovative product. Snowflake Suite and dreaMTouch complement each other really well, making it a very appealing multi-touch software hardware combination."
