Carnival Cruiselines trials kiosk check-in
Carnival Cruise Lines is trialling check-in kiosks at its Port of Miami cruise port as part of an ongoing effort to streamline boarding. The kiosks provide guests with a fast and convenient way to check in for their cruise.

To use these kiosks, guest must have pre-registered online and be a U.S. or Canadian citizen, or from a Visa waiver country. To access their booking information and check-in, guests simply swipe their passport or the credit card they used to pre-register online. The kiosks also accept cash deposits for guests’ onboard accounts. Once check in, a receipt is printed to confirm that the registration process has been completed and directs them to pick up their keys at a nearby desk.

If this pilot is successful, then the kiosks will be rolled out to the line’s other year-round homeports.
