In many self-service customer applications there is a continual demand for greater flexibility, faster operation and smaller build of equipment and equipment components. An open configuration and modular design therefore makes a lot of sense in these situations. The GPT-4762 modular Thermal Ticket Printer from GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik offers just such a solution, thanks to its customisable options and variety of configurations. It can also be controlled through both RS-232 and USB interfaces.
 
Depending on the individual assembly requirements, the OEM customer can define a variety of options, including how paper roll holders are attached to the printer. This is important because many control cabinets and terminals do not allow for a standard positioning of paper horizontally and behind the printer. The GeBE paper-roll holder features three mounting positions and the strong electric motor of the printer mechanism can feed paper equally well from all three, featuring minimal paper camber.
 
For easy service access, mounting of the printer is best done on the inside of the terminal or control box door. Paper thickness can be up to 280 μm, and print speed is up to 150 mm/s. Printed receipts or tickets are placed in a paper-catch or an output slot (optional with dispenser).
 
In addition to thermal printers, GeBE offers individual, OEM specific, customisation options with all in-house developed and manufactured input devices.
