Coin Handling Processes
In for a Penny...
Foreign objects such as paper, buttons, screws, paperclips, etc. are separated and removed through a reject channel, or by opening the flap of the coin feeder. An optional motor is also available for this purpose.
The EMP 895 coin selector was designed keeping in mind the special requirements of this application, based on the proven quality of the EMP 800 series. The EMR 100 motor reject was incorporated for the reject function of the coin selector and for activating the reject channel.
This coin feeder is completed by a ten-way sorter – the TWS 100 is sorter and escrow in one unit. During the coin insertion process, the coins are stored in the sorter, and in case of interruption of the payment process the coins are returned to the customer, thus preventing cash laundering. If the payment process is completed, the coins are sorted in up to eight hoppers, which can be arranged to save space in two levels of four hoppers each.
