KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2008 and its sister show, DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2008 look set to be the place to be seen this May. The kiosk show has already rebooked many of the exhibitors from 2007, including industry giants like Wincor Nixdorf and IBM, who will be sponsoring the ‘Self-Service Workshop’ conference programme.

A new feature for 2008 will the ‘Self-Service Futures Parlour,’ where visitors will be able to experience tomorrow’s self-service today, through innovative developments and inventions from a number of carefully selected European and global institutions and organisations. DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2008, meanwhile, really seems to have grabbed the industry’s attention, with 75% of available space already booked by major players from around the world, including such household names as JVC, Panasonic, Sharp and Scala, to name but a few.

A lot of time and energy has been put into how the show will be presented, with a major input from POPAI (Point Of Purchase Advertising International) – aside from the hundreds of screens and solutions on display, there will also be a major concentration on content and networks, with a unique ‘Digital Signage Content Centre’ centerpiece, demonstrating the very latest content possibilities now on offer for the medium. It is now predicted that the signage show will become the world’s largest expo of its type when the doors open on the two shows from the 6th to the 8th May in Messe Essen, 15 minutes outside Düsseldorf, Germany.

The full Workshop programmes for both events can now be found online at www.kioskeurope-expo.com and www.digitalsignageexpo.eu.
