KIOSK LONDON EXPO announces more exhibitors

Organisation of the very first KIOSK LONDON EXPO is in full swing, with just nine weeks to go until this British version of the highly successful KIOSK EUROPE EXPO.  Aimed specifically at the UK self-service market, the event promises to create a British buzz around the self-service market.

Kiosk London 2011

Situated in London – the birthplace of the ATM in 1967 – on 19th and 20th October at the Barbican Centre, the event will bring together leading self-service companies from across the UK, plus a select few from Europe and the rest of the world, in an intimate and vibrant mixture of exhibitor stands, networking opportunities and top quality seminars.

With the UK one of the world’s most receptive countries to the increasing global self-service revolution, as well as the lack of a UK-based kiosk event in recent years, the KIOSK EUROPE EXPO team realised that now would be the perfect time to bring together suppliers and end users from UK companies looking to invest in self-service solutions, without the need to travel abroad.

The show will also feature a free informative and diverse two-day seminar programme, shortly to be unveiled, which will give delegates the opportunity to hear the latest market research and learn about the most important technological innovations in the self-service industry from the experts.

Exhibitors and visitors from all sectors of the industry will be at the show, including full solutions providers, service companies, peripherals manufacturers and distribution companies from leading retail brands, banks, airports, hospitality companies, healthcare organisations and government offices.

Stands are being booked at the moment and currently include: Star Micronics, Pitney Bowes, DED, Eurocoin, Innovative Technology, AstroSystems, Hemisphere West Europe, Kestronics, Shenzhen Amongo Technologies, Verifone UK, Kioware, Congatec, Cammax, Protouch, 10 Squared, LogMeln and Global Bay Mobile Technologies.

Usability Workshop @ KEX 2012

Handspiel
What can self-service terminals learn from the success of the iPad? The Usability Expert Workshop will explore ways of developing self-service solutions capable of inspiring the same fanatical reaction as Apple’s iconic product. On the 7th of March this year, hundreds of people were out on the streets, waiting to be amongst the first to get their hands on the latest iPad iteration. They had camped out all night with their thermoses in the freezing cold. Why are so many people willing to do this in front of every Apple store, but not for a new check-in terminal at the airport, train station, or shopping mall? What’s behind the buzz, and how can we encourage a similar reaction to self-service solutions? Through expert contributions and together with you, we will seek to answer these questions and explore future ways to get there. KIOSK EUROPE and Handspiel will present the Usability Expert Workshop as part of KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2012, which runs from 12-13 June. The Usability Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 13th June from 10:30-13:30. Numbers are limited, so secure your place now by booking online at www.kioskeurope-expo.com
